Immanuel Lutheran Church was founded in the earliest days of settlement in Idaho’s Magic Valley in May, 1909. For the past century Immanuel, (whose name is translated from Hebrew as “God is with us!”) has proclaimed the Gospel truth of the Holy Bible in accordance with the Lutheran Confessions.
About Us
Today, Immanuel conducts two Worship Services; one at 8:30 AM and one at 10:45 AM each Sunday morning. Between services, Christian education and Bible classes are offered for all ages. On any fifth Sunday in a month, the two worship services are combined in a 9:30 AM service, followed by a fellowship breakfast.
Immanuel has conducted an outreach ministry through a weekly radio broadcast for more than 60 years. "God with Us” is aired on radio station KART 1400 AM, every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM followed immediately by “The International Lutheran Hour” at 9:30 AM.
Immanuel Lutheran School , founded in 1946, serves 230 students in Preschool through Fifth Grade, with an accredited academic curriculum, enriched by Bible study, and Christian ethics.
Immanuel Lutheran Child Development Center serves more than 200 children through day care services rich in academic content and Christian ideals.
